There is so much cuteness on this sweets table designed by Norene of Party Pinching!  I have had so much fun looking at all of the photos that she sent me and I know you will, too!  Norene has put so much party inspiration in one place, and I am thrilled to share these fabulous ideas that you can create with candies and treats that are easily accessible!  Enjoy~ and I hope some of these make it to your holiday celebrations!  How adorable are the North Pole Polar Bears from powdered doughnuts?

Have a look at the sleds made from wafer cookies and candies…

A tiny cup of cocoa never looked sweeter made from a marshmallow and placed on a cookie saucer~

These Puppy Packages may be my favorite- I really can’t decide!  The gift boxes are made from Rice Krispies Treats wrapped in Fruit by the Foot.  The puppy faces are white chocolate truffles decorated with candies.

Easy Rudolph Oreos~

Candy Cane hearts make a pretty addition~

Norene continued the candy theme with the decorations, too!  I love the beautiful candy trees and the easy candy flowers~

And it all comes together for a gorgeous and festive display!

There is always more to see at Party Pinching!  Norene has put together an e-book full of craft ideas like these little candy jars~ and it is on sale in her shop!  Visit her shop here and her blog here!

Thank you for inspiring us with penny-pinching, party ideas Norene!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

Birthday Party Ideas for a Teen- How to Celebrate a TEEN

Wow! My daughter turned into a teen!  Sometimes it can be tricky to decide what to do to celebrate this milestone.  I wanted to share with you some ideas that may help if you want to mark the occasion but also keep it low-key.  At first, my daughter wanted to have a very large sleepover to celebrate.  I loved it that she wanted to include everyone she knew, but laughed at the thought of trying to corral close to 30 tweens and teens! So, I told her she could have a little, bitty, teeny sleepover and her “real” party could be bubble soccer (which she had been begging to do at this huge sleepover she was planning ).  So, realizing the play on words with a “teeny” party, we went with the TEENY theme and used as many miniature things as we could.  It was such a fun theme and the ideas could go on forever…but this is what we decided on for her teeny, little sleepover.
