DANCE PARTY

Sweet Birthday Girl, Brynn, wanted to invite her friends to her party so that they could just talk and dance!  With a DJ as the entertainment, we added a few fun elements that had Brynn dancing with joy! Check out these fun birthday dance party ideas!

The backdrop glowed with lights through an art canvas and tissue poms scattered and secured with Glue Dots.  Mercury glass candles, surrounded by a pink boa, lit each table.  Origami stars dotted the tables...

The star wands were perfect for the easy "Dancing Queen Doughnuts"~  Mini tulle poms added to the decorations...

The Pop Star Soda Bar was a big hit with pink soda with custom labels and tied with blue ribbons...

The table was lit with glowing orbs and small signs with lights~

The glasses were rimmed with pop rocks for an extra dose of fun!

Brynn requested a Sundae Bar for her party.  Ice cream with "Chart Toppers" for the toppings!

The push-pop microphones served as the party favors- Brynn loved having her name on them!

Brynn and her friends also ooohed and aaahed over the cake!  They loved how big it was!

A fun day for all of the adorable dancing queens!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRYNN!

I love the lit backdrop! Are you going to share how you made it?

Love that backdrop too!! Please share a DIY! (unless it's a secret) :) Beautiful party!!
What a fabulous party! I have been brainstorming a dance party printable collection lately and I am thinking this is just the inspiration and I needed to get moving!

Thanks, everyone! The backdrop is made by using an art canvas and poking holes through the canvas with a sharpened nail. Push string lights through holes after deciding on the pattern you want to make. I used glue dots to keep the lights in place. Have fun!

Hi Tiffany!
The soda bottles are Jones Sodas (they come in pink) and I had labels made by Plain Jane Designs. You can contact Plain Jane Designs by calling 706-369-7006. I hope your daughter has a fun party! Thank you for stopping by!

Hi L. Williams!

The Push Up Pop containers can be found in several online shops...here is a link to an amazon list of shops. http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=push+pop+containers&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=7365470124&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1144925511118277585&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&ref=pd_sl_1ehcp0i8wf_b I hope that helps! Hi I am doing a post soon on ways to use fairy lights. Would you mind if I used one of your images with a link back to your site? I'd really love to include it but no worries if it's not ok with you.
Thank you

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting this absolutely cute birthday idea - I have contacted Jane at Plain Jane Design and she has gone up and beyond the call of duty to help me out in making my daughter's 8th birthday a great one! Already ordered pops from Amazon and orbs (and mirrored disco balls) from Save on Crafts. Thanks for all the info about those stores. I would like to get all of the same ribbon you have, but cannot seem to find the exact ones - did you order them online or go to a store? Thanks.
