Brrrr…..with a few more weeks of winter left, I am excited to share this beautiful winter-white Ice Skating Party by Wilmara of Madly Stylish Events! This party was a celebration of Wilmara’s daughter turning 8! With a gorgeous, neutral color-scheme, lovely treats like cocoa on a stick, and cozy, warm gloves, the guests were twirling and gliding with delight!
I love the milk bottle toppers!
Cocoa on a stick looks delicious with yummy marshmallows homemade by Wilmara- and perfectly displayed on a striped paper straw!
I also love the idea of having gloves for each guest to use at the party and to keep!
In addition to their gloves, the girls were given cute containers of doughnuts to take home as a favor…

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party! For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style! So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan! Wow! My daughter turned into a teen! Sometimes it can be tricky to decide what to do to celebrate this milestone. I wanted to share with you some ideas that may help if you want to mark the occasion but also keep it low-key. At first, my daughter wanted to have a very large sleepover to celebrate. I loved it that she wanted to include everyone she knew, but laughed at the thought of trying to corral close to 30 tweens and teens! So, I told her she could have a little, bitty, teeny sleepover and her “real” party could be bubble soccer (which she had been begging to do at this huge sleepover she was planning ). So, realizing the play on words with a “teeny” party, we went with the TEENY theme and used as many miniature things as we could. It was such a fun theme and the ideas could go on forever…but this is what we decided on for her teeny, little sleepover.

CAMILLE’S CLUBHOUSE ~ Confectionery, Soda Shoppe, Spa
My daughter had lots of ideas of what she wanted to do to celebrate her 10th birthday! She wanted to have lots of cookies~ and have a soda shoppe ~ and set up a spa for nail painting! With so many ideas, I knew we should come up with something that would tie it all together. And, that is how Camille’s Clubhouse became the theme- the Clubhouse is where you can find lots of her favorite things! We sent invitations with a an insert that had a “password” that had to be unscrambled and brought to the party for “entry”. That was an easy way to get the guests involved before the party even started!
