A dad will not “FORE-GET” this amazing golf-centered celebration by Jen, of Banner Events!  You will love all of the details and great ideas that you can use for your own Father’s Day Celebration or for a golf-themed birthday party.  There are so many fabulous ideas that would be great for a golfer- big or small!

I must admit, knowing which photo to show you first was difficult!  You know I think the world of Brittany at Edible Details, and her fondant work in this party is show-stopping!  Between the creative details and all of the fabulous desserts from many wonderful bakers, you will love looking at this party again and again!

As you can see, each place setting had dessert waiting for them with a cupcake placed at each plate as part of the party decor…

A fantastic cake was made to match the preppy and perfect paper accessories that were used throughout the party.  I especially love the argyle!  All of the patterns of the paper designs against the astro-turf table runner make Dad feel like he is out on the course!

The golf cookies are just gorgeous!  The detail on each cookie is wonderful~

Golf Cake Pops- resembling putting greens and dimpled white golf balls are another perfect addition!

White chocolate golf balls were also a hit!

And…”Holes in One Doughnuts”

This idea definitely has the most clever name!  Peanut PUTTER Parfaits!  How cute~ notice the fondant putters on each side of the glasses…

Another amazing fondant creation is this golf bag- it looks like leather!

Chocolate-covered Oreos also added a perfect touch to the dessert table…they make a great party favor!

Golfing makes you thirsty, and Jen didn’t leave out the drinks!  The fabulous bottle labels are a great way to customize and personalize and make the day even more fun!

Use colored soda to tie in the party colors…add a paper straw, a paper flag, and a tee!

I also love the WATER HAZARD for the water display~

The details just couldn’t be any cuter or more clever!  Even the centerpieces were decked out with grass, golf balls, and clubs!

What a fabulous party loaded with so many creative ways to celebrate the golfer in your life!  Thank you for sharing, Jen!  It is, no doubt, a TEE-riffic PAR-TEE…a definite hole in one!!

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.
