PATRIOTIC PICNIC

There is nothing like celebrating patriotic, summer holidays!  From remembering and saluting our fallen soldiers on Memorial Day to celebrating Independence Day on the fourth of July, we proudly wave our red, white, and blue here in America.  This fabulous picnic by Kylie, of Made by a Princess, is no exception- and is full of ideas that would suit many summer picnic parties for any occasion.  Just adjust the ideas to fit your color scheme, and have yourself a picnic any time during the lovely days of summer!

I love the mix of gingham, daffodils, and delicious red, white, and blue treats!

Kylie made festive place settings for each friend~ look how cute the placemats are with the blue and white ticking fabric trimmed in ric rac.

Kylie added sparkle to the day with glittered spoons and forks~

One other fabulous part of this party is that Kylie put this together on a budget of $150.  By using ideas such as sewing Dollar Tree dish towels together to make chair back covers, Kylie was able to add details without breaking the bank!  What a great picnic, Kylie!  Thank you for sharing your festive and fabulous ideas!
