WOW!  Gwynn Wasson , of Gwynn Wasson Designs, planned the most spectacular party for her son’s first birthday!  With bright, vivid colors to represent the joy the birthday boy exudes, this party is full of energy and excitement!  Starting with the moment the invitation arrived, the guests couldn’t wait to see a winter wonderland in sunny California!  This “Onederland” is definitely a party full of great ideas, happy children, and a gorgeous birthday boy!

As guests arrived, they had a glimpse of what was to come…

The precious Birthday Boy with his smash cake…

The playhouse was turned into “Chalet Becks” for the day~ I adore those little penguins in the snow!

The children each adopted a polar bear~

And each child was sent home with a snowmaking kit so that they could make their own!

Adorable in EVERY way!

Thank you, Gwynn, for sharing this magical party with us!  It is a delight to see all of the fun and all of the inspiration!  Gwynn designed all of the party stationery herself and has it available in her Etsy Shop, Gwynn Wasson Designs.

You did a GREAT job on this theme! I am going to be ordering some sno-wonder for my little gils 1st birthday in 4 weeks. By looking at your pictures, how much sno-wonder did you have to order?? The pictures look great:)Thanks,Kim J

A message from Gwynn…Our "snow box" was quite large (18'x16') so I bought the large 480 gallon bag. But we only ended up using about 2/3 of it (originally I was going to build a larger pit with a small sledding hill) so we probably could have gotten away with the 300 gallon bag. I would recommend making the snow deeper than the 1" that the company uses as a method for measuring how many feet each bag will cover. (Ours was about 3-4" deep) If your interested party contacts Sno Wonder they will reach Richard who owns the company and is quite open to answering any questions that they might have.

where did you get the penguins that you put along the sidewalk (the ones holding balloons)? This is the most darling party idea I have ever seen. I love it! Thanks, Cally
