Adding a spark to your party for Independence Day can be fun, easy, and CUTE!

An ALL-AMERICAN COKE looks even more patriotic with bottle wrappers from Lauren McKinsey Designs~

I love all of the new items Lauren McKinsey Designs has added for this collection!

I used her cute banner to make straw decorations.  Just use a hole puncher to make a hole in the top and bottom of the paper and slide straw through holes.  This works equally well with paper straws from Hey Yo Yo or plastic striped straws found at the grocery store!

Of course, the ice cream cone wrappers liven up the cones in the simplest of ways~

Just print, cut, wrap, and secure with tape!  REALLY CUTE- REALLY EASY!

See the entire FOURTH OF JULY collection- you will find an endless supply of fun and inspiration…

My glass bottles are re-purposed Starbuck’s Frappuccino bottles- easy to find!

Independence Day banners can be made in different sizes when downloaded from Lauren McKinsey Designs…

She also has her adorable Hershey Kisses stickers available!

I think these would also be cute to let children use to decorate their own ice cream cone wrapper for a fun, quick activity while the ice cream is churning.

And I love the candy jar cut-outs- they also double as cup cake or pie toppers!

Print on sticker paper and make to-go boxes or treat boxes~

The collection has such a wide variety!

The way printables work:  you simply purchase the file you would like to have sent to your email;  you print out your party pack and use in any way to decorate your party!  You will have gorgeous designs to use and as many as you like!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

Birthday Party Ideas for a Teen- How to Celebrate a TEEN

Wow! My daughter turned into a teen!  Sometimes it can be tricky to decide what to do to celebrate this milestone.  I wanted to share with you some ideas that may help if you want to mark the occasion but also keep it low-key.  At first, my daughter wanted to have a very large sleepover to celebrate.  I loved it that she wanted to include everyone she knew, but laughed at the thought of trying to corral close to 30 tweens and teens! So, I told her she could have a little, bitty, teeny sleepover and her “real” party could be bubble soccer (which she had been begging to do at this huge sleepover she was planning ).  So, realizing the play on words with a “teeny” party, we went with the TEENY theme and used as many miniature things as we could.  It was such a fun theme and the ideas could go on forever…but this is what we decided on for her teeny, little sleepover.
