A crisp autumn day sets the tone and is the inspiration behind this gorgeous fall baby shower by Miranda, of Whimsical Printables.  Miranda wanted a sophisticated but rustic feel to the party, and I think she achieved just that!  Beautiful setting, beautiful styling, beautiful everything…

I love the pumpkin and acorn cake pops…along with the cake pops dusted in gold and topped with a fondant leaf!

I also love the chocolate-covered Oreos topped with tiny fondant pumpkins!  Adorable!

Apples on a cinnamon stick always makes a statement~

Miranda hung Mason jars with daisy lids from the tree branches…

Invitations were cut in a beautiful shape and included an R.S.V.P card for each guest~

Party favors were mini pecan pies tied with a thank you tag and perfectly displayed.

What a great idea for a Fall Party of any kind!  Thank you for sharing your fabulous fall inspiration, Miranda!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

Birthday Party Ideas for a Teen- How to Celebrate a TEEN

Wow! My daughter turned into a teen!  Sometimes it can be tricky to decide what to do to celebrate this milestone.  I wanted to share with you some ideas that may help if you want to mark the occasion but also keep it low-key.  At first, my daughter wanted to have a very large sleepover to celebrate.  I loved it that she wanted to include everyone she knew, but laughed at the thought of trying to corral close to 30 tweens and teens! So, I told her she could have a little, bitty, teeny sleepover and her “real” party could be bubble soccer (which she had been begging to do at this huge sleepover she was planning ).  So, realizing the play on words with a “teeny” party, we went with the TEENY theme and used as many miniature things as we could.  It was such a fun theme and the ideas could go on forever…but this is what we decided on for her teeny, little sleepover.
