This little surfer boy’s party was a wave of bright colors and yummy treats!  Courtney, of Buttercream Bling and Picture Perfect Party Designs, hosted this party for her son for his 2nd birthday!  Hang ten and enjoy!

The party was held at a park, and Courtney transformed the setting into “beachy” with fish net, ocean colors, surfboards, and more!  Cookies made by Courtney…

Marshmallow pops in just the right colors…

Mini cupcakes are just the right size!

Clever Salt Water Taffy makes me smile~

I love the bright red lollipops with the Birthday Boy’s new number!

Courtney also made the letters spelling out her son’s name…

Favors were chocolate pops with customized labels by Suckers by Steph.

Such a fun and colorful party!  Thank you for sharing the fun with us, Courtney!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

Birthday Party Ideas for a Teen- How to Celebrate a TEEN

Wow! My daughter turned into a teen!  Sometimes it can be tricky to decide what to do to celebrate this milestone.  I wanted to share with you some ideas that may help if you want to mark the occasion but also keep it low-key.  At first, my daughter wanted to have a very large sleepover to celebrate.  I loved it that she wanted to include everyone she knew, but laughed at the thought of trying to corral close to 30 tweens and teens! So, I told her she could have a little, bitty, teeny sleepover and her “real” party could be bubble soccer (which she had been begging to do at this huge sleepover she was planning ).  So, realizing the play on words with a “teeny” party, we went with the TEENY theme and used as many miniature things as we could.  It was such a fun theme and the ideas could go on forever…but this is what we decided on for her teeny, little sleepover.
