Oh, my, what a party!  Miranda, of Whimsical Printables, put together this gorgeous party for her daughter, affectionately called “LaLa”.  Using the doll as a basis for the party inspiration, Miranda didn’t miss a single detail!

The wide strips of fabric for the garland that is a focal point of the backdrop is gorgeous!  I also love how the patterns mix and mingle and make such a cute statement!

Gorgeous treats added to this party already full of eye-candy!

The cookies and cupcake toppers are stunningly beautiful!

The cake pops were whimsically perfect with button eyes and stitched mouths!

Miranda’s first cake collapsed and so this was a quick, last-minute cake that the bakery made as a replacement cake.  It looks so cute and goes to show you that party disasters can be just fine!

The displays are all so festive and lovely!  Look how cute gumballs look all dressed up!

The guests had so many favors- they were showered with delightful treats- and the presentation of each is one of the details that I love about this party!  These clay necklaces were made by Miranda’s mother and each was placed in the most adorable button boxes!

I also love the button embellishment on the clear containers- and the beautiful doilies on the jars!

The darling Birthday Girl had a fancy dress and a perfect apron-dress to wear to her Lalaloopsy Party!

Wow!  What an adorable party full of inspiration for Lalaloopsy and beyond!  Miranda even greeted the guests with a party-themed wreath on the front door!

Be sure to visit Miranda and all of the fabulous vendors that contributed their talents to this gorgeous party!  There are MORE photos at Whimsical Printables!  Thank you for sharing, Miranda!!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

CAMILLE’S CLUBHOUSE ~ Confectionery, Soda Shoppe, Spa

My daughter had lots of ideas of what she wanted to do to celebrate her 10th birthday!  She wanted to have lots of cookies~ and have a soda shoppe ~ and set up a spa for nail painting!  With so many ideas, I knew we should come up with something that would tie it all together.  And, that is how Camille’s Clubhouse became the theme- the Clubhouse is where you can find lots of her favorite things!  We sent invitations with a an insert that had a “password” that had to be unscrambled and brought to the party for “entry”.  That was an easy way to get the guests involved before the party even started!

Birthday Party Ideas for a Teen- How to Celebrate a TEEN

Wow! My daughter turned into a teen!  Sometimes it can be tricky to decide what to do to celebrate this milestone.  I wanted to share with you some ideas that may help if you want to mark the occasion but also keep it low-key.  At first, my daughter wanted to have a very large sleepover to celebrate.  I loved it that she wanted to include everyone she knew, but laughed at the thought of trying to corral close to 30 tweens and teens! So, I told her she could have a little, bitty, teeny sleepover and her “real” party could be bubble soccer (which she had been begging to do at this huge sleepover she was planning ).  So, realizing the play on words with a “teeny” party, we went with the TEENY theme and used as many miniature things as we could.  It was such a fun theme and the ideas could go on forever…but this is what we decided on for her teeny, little sleepover.
