Having two little boys with birthdays in July is a great reason to celebrate with a dual party– and what a perfect theme for a 3 year-old and a 1 year-old!  All little boys love things that “go” and this party rolls with non-stop fun, high-flying treats, and stop-you-in-your-tracks cuteness!  Go for a ride with us with this adorable Transportation Party from Party Plan-It!

There were matching cakes on the dessert table- one for each birthday boy!

The guests had lots of sweet treats to choose..each with a different mode of transportation!

I always love to display the invitation at the party, too…

Guests were given candy bags so that they could choose their candy and enjoy or save for later…

Kettle Corn was served in hot air balloon bags!

Drinks were dressed for the party and served with an array of colorful striped straws~

Tables were set with the favor boxes at each place…and Michelle always makes an activity mat for each child as part of the place setting.  What a great idea!

Bubbles, games, face painting, and more kept the guests active and happy travelers!

Two happy BIRTHDAY BROTHERS and a truckload of fun!

Thank you for sharing the party with us, Michelle!  What a great time!  You can see more from this party and also find the printed backdrops, games, activity mats, etc. here.  Follow Party Plan-It on Facebook, too!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

CAMILLE’S CLUBHOUSE ~ Confectionery, Soda Shoppe, Spa

My daughter had lots of ideas of what she wanted to do to celebrate her 10th birthday!  She wanted to have lots of cookies~ and have a soda shoppe ~ and set up a spa for nail painting!  With so many ideas, I knew we should come up with something that would tie it all together.  And, that is how Camille’s Clubhouse became the theme- the Clubhouse is where you can find lots of her favorite things!  We sent invitations with a an insert that had a “password” that had to be unscrambled and brought to the party for “entry”.  That was an easy way to get the guests involved before the party even started!
