Having a Bike Party for your 9-year-old birthday girl is a fabulous idea!  Kara, from Lillian Hope Designs, hosted this free-wheeling, fun-loving, beautiful party for her daughter’s birthday.  I love how Kara incorporated all of the gorgeous trends that a 9 year-old-old would love- chevron print, glittery gold, soft pink, and bicycles!

The popular “Keep Calm…” quote was made to fit the theme and carried through on signage all the way to the cookies!

A gorgeous ruffle cake was topped with roses and displayed on a mint green cake stand~ how sweet and feminine!

Cake pops delivered on a very clever gold bicycle!  How cute!

Keep Calm and Ride On…

Mason Jars were spray-painted gold, filled with Baby’s Breath, and decorated with the birthday number~

Gold accents were a prominent part of the party decorations- including the frame for this quote…an adorable reminder to keep pedaling!

Kara used baskets (to go along with the idea of bicycle baskets) for the Scavenger Hunt- and, of course, all of the guests brought their bikes to ride as they hunted.

What a cute party, Kara!  I love how you celebrated turning 9!

I can see why the beautiful Birthday Girl is all smiles!

Thank you for sharing this lovely party- what a great way to make a bicycle party soft, feminine, and perfectly gorgeous!

Young children often get overwhelmed and over stimulated easily. We have all been to birthday parties where children are in tears over costumed characters or overwhelmed with the large numbers of unfamiliar faces. Consider your child’s personality and preference and plan a party where your child can be comfortable, be himself, and have fun. There are various outdoor as well as indoor games that kids can enjoy and feel tempting. Slow cycle race, painting, and other water games can be exciting.Reference: http://www.partykidz.ie/party1.html
