This summer, I was so excited to get to hang out with Loralee Lewis in Utah for a day! Loralee was in the middle of designing a photo shoot to show her Swan Lake paper collection…and she pulled out all the stops to create such beautiful imagery to go along with the gorgeous designs she put to paper! I laughed as she told me about the swan pinata she was handmaking…and the lovely tulle dresses she had in mind…and the rainboots that she was spray painting gold for the girls. Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to see it all come together! It is even more beautiful than I could have imagined it would be, and I am thrilled to share it with you!
What a cute and unique theme for a gender reveal party! The mom-to-be was a long-time ballerina and the dad-to-be grew up farming…and so Ashton (of Darling Little Details) knew right away that “Boots or Ballet” would be a perfect theme for this party! With so many creative details, you can also find great birthday party ideas for cowboys and ballerinas! My favorite clever detail is the “Candy Barre” for the guests! Love that idea!
This Ballerina Party by Sweet Par-T is positively precious! I love the balloon backdrop and all of the frilly touches! It is just gorgeous- and so much fun to see! Enjoy the ideas… and I hope you find some or several that you can use for your own little Ballerina!
The desserts and styling at this Ballet Party designed by Couture Event Styling are show-stopping! The pink mixed with gold gives the party a regal feel, and every little detail is perfectly executed with panache! Stunning and fabulous…enjoy this delight of a party!
This Nutcracker Party by Christie, of Flaired Affairs, leaves you feeling shiny and bright! With glittery pinks and soft blues, Christie designed a holiday party with special treats, face-painting, and the thrill of Christmas!
Beautiful is an understatement when describing this Ballerina Birthday Party by Mariana, of Sperb Party and Design. The dainty satin shoes, tutus on mannequins, and gorgeous desserts add polish and grace to this lovely first birthday requested by the birthday girl’s ballerina mom! A perfect balance of soft, sweet, delicate perfection…
This little party is PURE CUTENESS! And, I love it that it celebrates the special things in life that are big moments for the child (and parents!)! A Ballet Recital is always reason to celebrate, from the bouquet of flowers after the last curtain call to the celebration after the show! This dessert table couldn’t get any cuter than what Courtney styled for her daughters- a combination of girlie fun that doesn’t stop at pink tulle…just add lots of adorable animals, bright colors, and unique displays to top off this party with a twirl! Look at these precious little toppers in their TUTUS!
There is a lot to twirl about in this stunning and sweet Ballerina Party by Sara, of The Homespun Hostess/Party Papers! Sara has a fantastic eye for styling and a most creative touch- she makes most of what you will see… with the exception of the desserts that are made by her sister! Creativity is in the genes, and I am thrilled to share the gorgeous photos of a special Ballerina Birthday for Sara’s adorable daughter!
Can you imagine opening an invitation to a party and finding an exquisite, tiny, handmade dress as the invitation to the party? What a wonderful first impression of the party that is to come! This invitation from Two Girls and a Card Shoppe is just that…sweet, dainty, and unexpected! I am also imagining the endless possibilities and variety of ways this idea could be adapted…you must see the spa robe version, too!
A Ballerina Birthday Party gets a new twist with a piggy theme that will make you squeal with delight! Maria, of Love and Sugar Kisses, brought her daughter’s birthday party request to life with the sweet touches of ballet and the silliness of a piggy! I think she combined the two with posh piggy flair!
