For a sports-loving family living in California, this first birthday party for their son, Angel, had everyone cheering! With a focus on the San Francisco 49ers, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and (of course) the Anaheim ANGELS, the celebration was loaded with fun for football and baseball fans…and was named, “Angel’s First Ball Game! Belladonna Sweets created all of the desserts and styled the sweets table to feel like being at the concession stand of your favorite team! An all-around SCORE!
With the WORLD SERIES in full swing, I wanted to share this great idea from Jenny Melrose! A watermelon carved into the shape of a baseball mitt and used as the serving dish for fruit- what a fantastic way to serve guests at a party- or guests that are over to watch the game!
Pop over to Jenny’s blog for directions on how to make this baseball mitt– it is sure to be a hit with your guests! Thank you for linking your cute idea, Jenny!
This red, white, and blue party is an All-American winner! Sara, of The Homespun Hostess/Party Papers, put together a fun-filled birthday party for her son and knocked it out of the park! With baseball being Sara’s son’s favorite sport, it was an easy choice to invite his baseball team to the park for a game- and Sara set up the party in the pavilion. I love how detailed and stylish this party is while also keeping a laid-back vibe…perfect for a birthday boy and his baseball team!
