Wave these SPARKLERS on INDEPENDENCE DAY, and watch the kids’ faces light up! I made these simple little candy sparklers using PAPER STRAWS, POP ROCKS, PIXIE STIX,CUPCAKE TOPPERS, GLUE DOTS and a FUNNEL.
Pop Rock sparklers were a HUGE HIT with my kids because they pop and sizzle just like a real sparkler would! Magical every time!
It is always fun to have an easy idea that still has a big impact- and homemade ice cream sandwiches are so, so easy with a great fun factor added, too! These ice cream sandwiches are all dressed up for Independence Day, but you can choose what colors you would like and make them any way you like!

We are so excited to be back at The Party Wagon sharing our free printable patriotic party collection available in our shop, Katarina’s Paperie, now. Fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays. There’s something about styling a celebration using red, white and blue that makes me feel so happy. I love sharing this joy of summer with all of our friends and family. For this year’s patriotic collection, we combined classic stripes and polka dots to create a colorful and fun design that would be perfect for any barbecue, picnic or other patriotic themed party.
There is nothing like celebrating patriotic, summer holidays! From remembering and saluting our fallen soldiers on Memorial Day to celebrating Independence Day on the fourth of July, we proudly wave our red, white, and blue here in America. This fabulous picnic by Kylie, of Made by a Princess, is no exception- and is full of ideas that would suit many summer picnic parties for any occasion. Just adjust the ideas to fit your color scheme, and have yourself a picnic any time during the lovely days of summer!
When I was little, one of my sister’s friends made this candy for us, and it has been a part of the family recipe book ever since! I don’t know the origin of the recipe… we call it “Karen’s Candy” – named after our friend that brought it to us. It is so, so easy and so, so yummy! My children and I just made it, and we added red white and blue sprinkles to make it festive for the Fourth of July. With or without sprinkles, it is always a hit! I always leave some without sprinkles for the adults~
Add a little extra pizzazz to your Fourth of July festivities with these fun ideas from Laura at Eye CandyEvent Details! Laura hosted a budget-friendly Luau Party that is perfect for any type of patriotic party- celebrate with military families, Memorial Day, Independence Day, or a patriotic birthday! Grab your grass skirt and enjoy!
