Sharing your favorite things with your friends is always fun- and doing it with style, bold pops of color, and fabulous food just makes it even better! This party is for the grown-ups, but it is easily adapted for the younger set. What a great party theme for tweens and teens, too! I love what Kylie, of Made by a Princess, did to celebrate a fun night with her girlfriends!
Kylie made tassel garlands and used them throughout the party- and she chose a rainbow of colors to represent a little bit of everyone’s favorite color! Afterall, this party was about everyone sharing their favorite things!
Everyone was greeted with a bright display of glasses serving up their favorite drinks~ Kylie glittered each glass stem…
The idea behind the party is that each guest brings five of their favorite things to give as gifts. It can be five of the same thing or five different things. Kylie and her friends put a $6 limit on the cost of each gift.
Kylie had a bag for each guest to use to take home their five “new” favorite things. Each guest chose a name and would get to get a gift that that person brought…the gifts were lined up on the table and the name that you chose was at random- straight from the hat!
Kylie also included a questionnaire for each guest to fill out about more of their favorites- Kylie said these were fun to read and to learn things that you never knew about your friends!
Before the party, Kylie asked each of her friends to send her her favorite quote…Kylie compiled them and used the quotes as part of the decorations for the party! How fun, cute, and clever!
Kylie also asked each of her friends to send the name of her favorite song…and Kylie compiled the songs onto a disc for each to have! What a great idea!
I just love how Kylie put so many special touches on a fun night with her friends! It is such a great way to celebrate your friends and to score a few fabulous finds!
Thank you for sharing your party, Kylie! It is now one of my favorite things!!
